Baptist Internal Medicine Group at 2101 Nicholasville Road and Beaumont
Centre are primary care physician groups affiliated with Central Baptist
Hospital. Our
physicians are dedicated to providing the same excellent care and compassion
that you expect from Central Baptist.
As board-certified specialists in internal medicine, our physicians are trained in the newest developments in quality care. They are also experts in preventive care.

Baptist Internal Medicine Group can refer you to a specialist or surgeon. Most referrals are to physicians affiliated with Central Baptist. This means you can be sure they are board certified in their fields and are dedicated to providing the quality care you expect from the Central Baptist family of health care providers.
Baptist Internal Medicine Group admits patients to Central Baptist Hospital. While there, a Hospitalist will oversee your care and communicate your status to your primary care physician at Baptist Internal Medicine Group.
Baptist Internal Medicine Group office hours are Monday through Friday from 8am to 4pm. Same day appointments are often available for acute illnesses.
Baptist Internal Medicine Group participates with most major insurance plans. Check with your plan for participating providers and covered services.

Sonia Nair, MD is Board Certified by the American Board
of Internal Medicine. Dr. Nair graduated from Odessa State Medical
University in the Ukraine and completed her residency at the University
of Louisville.
Dr. Nair also has experience at the University of Kentucky and as a Hospitalist at Central Baptist Hospital. As a Hospitalist, Dr. Nair directed the inpatient care and communicated with her patients’ primary care physicians. This experience enhances her ability to provide quality primary care to her patients. Dr. Nair is fluent in several languages including Russian, Hindi, Malyalam, Gujarati, and Marathi.
Robert Truitt, MD is Board Certified by the American
Board of Internal Medicine. A Central Kentucky native, Dr. Truitt
graduated from Woodford County High School, Transylvania University,
and the University of Louisville Medical School. He completed
his residency at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit.
After eight (8) years in Michigan, Dr. Truitt returned home to the Lexington
area where he cared for patients at the University of Kentucky and the
VA for 13 years.
Dr. Truitt has experience in both the inpatient and outpatient settings. He
has also been able to share his commitment to quality medical care by supervising
and instructing residents and medical students.

Vladimir Lytchakov, MD is Board Certified by the American
Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Lytchakov graduated from
St. Petersburg Pavlov State Medical University in St. Petersburg, Russia. He
completed residencies in St. Petersburg as well as at Temple University
Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Dr. Lytchakov also has experience as a primary care physician in Crossville, Tennessee, where he practiced for four (4) years. He has been practicing in Central Kentucky since 2002. His areas of interest include preventive care services and the management of diabetes and hypertension. Dr. Lytchakov is fluent in Russian.
Chitra Raghavan, MD is Board Certified
by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Raghavan graduated
from Kakatiya Medical School in India. She completed her residency
at the University of Kentucky.
Dr. Raghavan also has experience as a Hospitalist at Central Baptist Hospital. As a Hospitalist, she directed the inpatient care and communicated with her patients’ primary care physicians. The experience enhances her ability to provide quality primary care to her patients. Dr. Raghavan is fluent in several languages including Hindi and the South Indian languages.
