The severe weather possibilities are still out there and I think we could be under the gun on Saturday. So paying attention to this site and WYMT-TV/DT could become very important. Actually, it is always important… but even more important when we are talking about severe weather on the horizon.
As I gazed over the models I noticed a nice little st-up for severe weather. It won’t be a super great one, but it as the potential to bring some strong ones to our area with some decent amounts of rainfall associated with any of the storms that get fired up.
Isn’t Mother Nature a clever one?!?! She allowed all of us to get our guard down and then she turned the heat up again. It’s this heat that we’ll be dealing with over the next couple of days.
The break from all of the heat will be gone very shortly around these parts. I guess it is fitting since we are now officially in summer. Those hot and humid days are back this week!
It looks like these extremely comfortable temperatures are going to stay right where they are! It is now looking more & more likely that we’ll see at least a passing shower or two somewhere in the area. So now I’ll jump on the rain chance forecast and ride it out.
This is what I call perfect weather! These days are just warm enough to stay outside without worrying about melting away to nothing. Another factor is the lack of humidity that we’ve been experiencing. These very desirable conditions should last a couple of days this week!
The heat & humidity is back in town! There is good news to go along with that though… it won’t last too long this go around. Another decent front will cross the commonwealth during the Friday-Saturday time frame. Cooler temps and lower humidity values will then begin to filter into our region.
If this heat has you miserable… there is a change in the pattern entering the area. Don’t let Tuesday fool you though this will be a teaser of what comes later in the week. Highs will be close to 80 on Tuesday with the help of some rain and storms!
It may be June but I’ll tell you one thing… it is HOT!!! It’s not that i can’t handle the heat… I’d just rather not! The problem is that I don’t see a break in this nastiness anytime soon. I am now officially going with the 90s for actual daytime highs for the next few days.
I have finally shaken off the old congestion and I am now feeling much better. I am feeling better physically… it’s the heat that is coming that makes me feel a little queasy. If it is the heat of July or August you are wanting… get ready for just that! Temperatures will be climbing all week long.
